Endlich!
Natürlich gab es die Reissues aus 2000, aber auch diese drei Atheist-CD's gehen auf eBay für rund 45 Dollar. Jetzt werden Relapse die drei Scheiben wiederveröffentlichen. Erst kommt eine Vinylbox (limitiert auf 1000 Stück), dann folgen die Silberlingen.
Hier einige Kommentare von Kelly Shaeffer, zu lesen auf der Relapse-Website:

Relapse is that label as it has a true understanding of where ATHEIST helped to rewrite the timeline of metal."

Relapse will start by issuing a limited edition, foil-stamped box set containing LP versions of each of the ATHEIST full-lengths, as well as the R.A.V.A.G.E. (pre-ATHEIST) "On They Slay" 7" EP exclusive to this edition. The LP box will be strictly limited to 1,000 copies and surface in July. The CD re-issues will follow in the late Summer/early Fall starting with Elements on August 30 (US) and September 5 (Europe).

Es gab ja auch noch Atheist-Bootlegs aus Hellas (öfter mal was Neues)...

Ist Anno 2000 nicht nur die "Piece Of Time" rausgekommen? Ich meine die anderen wären zwar angekündigt gewesen aber nie wirklich erschienen. Oder weiß jemand etwas gegenteiliges?

Atheist haben damals auf das absolut falsche Pferd gesetzt (labeltechnisch), ich meine was will eine Death Metal Band auf einem Label, auf dem sich in erster Linie Rapper etc. tummeln?
