Neue Radio-Metal-Show: Metal Lessons

Metal Lessons Radio Is On The Air, Almost! Former FESTER members, DJ?s John O?Brien & John Mahoney will start broadcasting their long awaited Internet Radio show, as soon as a comfortable network fit is located.

We will be broadcasting a 2-hour theme-based metal show that will explore many facets of the music.

The initial focus will be to dissect each year, our first show covers the year in metal-1984, with other years to follow in a random order.

We will also be exploring show topics like the New Age Of British Heavy Metal, Greatest Metal Cover songs... In as much as the show is called "Metal Lessons", we in no way want you to think that we?re anything more than two 40-year old?s with a big music collection and a love for metal, and the theme just helps us present the music in a format that will either turn you onto something new or rekindle a lost love of some forgotten metal!

Hör ich mir immer wieder gerne an insbesondere die Anekdoten von John Mahoney und John o Brien sind immer interessant.
So wollte John Mahoney damals Chuck Schuldiner überzeugen ,dass Dont break the Oath die beste MF wäre, Chuck war aber mehr der Melissa Fan.

John Mahoney war mal kurz bei Nasty Savage (Tour).
Der frühere FESTER Bassist Scott Carino später bei DEATH.
Scott Carino wird vermutlich auch Gast sein.

Gast waren der Sänger von Lowbrow und Scott Carino (Lowbrow, Death, Fester).
Themen war Lowbrows anstehende Europa Tour und Gespräche/Erinnerungen über Death, Fester, Nasty Savage, Scott Burns....

Musikalisch wurden Death, Cynic, Atheist, Savatage, The Guff, Crimson Glory, Nasty Savage, Nocturnus... gespielt.

Ab ca. 116min beginnt das Interview mit Kelly Shaefer (ca.25min lang).
Gespräche über Roger Patterson, Sunset Club, Volley Club, Keith Collins Mike Browning, Morbid Angel Nasty Ronnie, Auftritt in Europa vor tausenden Fans im Gegensatz dazu die Anfänge in Tampa wo 16 Fans zusahen wenn Atheist und Morbid Angel spielten usw.
