I'm glad to present to you my newest long lost "forgotten jewel" discovery from the 80s: ROBYN DANGER. Simply put, this is the American answer to Warlock (Burning the Witches circa). And although it is not groundbreaking, it is very solid and entertaining classic female fronted metal attack.

In their relatively short career ROBYN DANGER released 3 Cassette EPs and one demo as follows:

SCREAM YOUR LUNGS OUT 1985
NASTY LADY 1988
GRAB HOLD... AND PULL 1990
TIME WILL TELL 1992

All 4 tapes were released under their own label "Danger Records" and extremely limited and hard to find.

Here you can listen to some songs: ROBYN DANGER AUDIO SAMPLES

Note: the link leads to a page with embedded flash player.

Nothing is finalized yet, but we are working on licensing a limited Anthology type CD release including all 4 tapes, hand-numbered and limited to 500 copies.

Any comments/input are welcome, thanks!

Yeah, that´s why they also put Doro on their cover.

Didn´t know about the band before, but the sound files sound cool and really remind me of 80s german metal.

:yeah:

Haha, that's actually Robyn on the cover. She did look somewhat like Doro in her hayday.

Interesting trivia for US power metal fanatics. Robyn was the original singer for Rellik in the early days before Mike Moore.

Sounds very cool and interesting. Another, yet unknown, band for me to be discovered.
