I'm glad to announce the upcoming release of Sweden's finest and equally arcane 80s epic metal heroes: DETEST - A MASSIVE Double 2CD Set featuring their cult "Thundersteel" MLP 1990 plus myriad of demos recorded between 1998-1991. A must have for fans of Manowar, Doomsword, and Metal Church, just to name a few.

To make things even more fun and interesting, we're going to make this interactive: you can ask Micke Därth questions, the answers to which will be published in the booklet.

So go ahead and give it your best shot! All questions received by Friday, May 18th will be forwarded to Micke.

This will be huge! The demos are a bit unsteady in terms of quality i think, but they sure had some killer tracks beside the marvelouse EP. Like what happened with SLANDER, this will bring even more attention to this cult band and will make my original copy even more worthy.

(...just joking alright?!)

An obvious question would be, if they have any future plans, like recording new music, touring etc.

Another gem from the past and definitely another must buy for me.

What do you mean by that? I surely didn't want to spoil the surprise, I just copied the trackist from the Detest facebook page to show some others who await this release that no wish will be left unanswered.

I thought the remark was rather funny, sarcasm-wise.
I'm looking forward to this CD-set as well, as I'd never heard of these guys before. Detest were a well-kept secret, so it seems. Strange name for a metalband though, it would easily fit a punk or hardcore outfit.

The amount of CDs you are selling to this board, should be proof enough that we are reading your stuff!!!!

I'm very glad to announce that the cult Swedish underground power Viking horde, also known as DETEST, are currently recording a follow-up to their highly acclaimed THUNDERSTEEL EP. 26 years to the day, the debut album is finally on its way. Better later than never, eh...

More details to follow as they become available. For now we are expecting to unleash it upon the masses sometime in the Summer.
