Verfasst: 18. November 2007, 00:45Zum zehnten KIT haben sich Jowita Kaminska und ihr Freund Simone einer wirklich coolen Sache angenommen, aber lest selbst:
To celebrate the 10th edition of our favourite festival me and my boyfriend, Simone Peruzzi, decided to print a book that will be available in April 2008.
The book will be partly in English and partly in German and here's what you can expect:
- 64 full-color pages, hard cover, 21x30 cm, print-run of 1.000 copies.
- An introduction by Martin Brandt ("Heavy") in German and Sandro Buti ("Metal Maniac") in English.
- An interview with Oli and Tarek (in German and in English).
- KIT festival history, edition by edition, containing:
* info (date, place, running order) and collages with flyers, tickets, DVD covers, T-shirts, photos...
* bands' comments about the festival (impressions, funny stories...)
* bands' short profiles on the sidebars (line-ups, discographies...)
* bands' photos (live photos from the festival)
* short reports in English (by Eddy Vermeiren of "Den of Iniquity" webzine) and in German (still to be decided by whom).
- A few pages with impressions from the festival: offstage and fun photos taken by the fans.
- Two spread pages with promo photos of the bands playing at KIT X - for autographs.
- Advertising pages for metal merchants, labels between the chapters (we need to raise some funds to cover the printing costs).
You can have a small contribution here too... If you have any cool (and good quality) pictures from KIT (headbanging, stagediving, drinking, partying, camping... just anything that's METAL and shows the atmosphere of the festival), send them to me: jowita76@yahoo.com (or, if they are uploaded on a website - give me the link) and maybe they will be chosen and printed in the book! Metal!
